Local boutique and coffee shop, The Florida Local, will be donating $5 from every sale of their NSB Vernacular shirt (pictured below) to Foundation 37 which will be redistributing the funds raised back to NSB businesses and residents affected by closures due to coronavirus COVID-19.
Although the shop is currently closed, the shirts are available to order online here.
Locals are encouraged to show their NSB pride with their shirts and hashtag #supportsmyrna to show how they are supporting locals during this challenging time.
The Florida Local co-owner and illustrator, Chelsea Preston has also created an “I Love New Smyrna Beach” sticker (pictured below) to raise funds for Foundation 37. The 4-inch die-cut sticker is only $4 and shipping is FREE. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the stickers will be donated to Foundation 37 as well. To date, $700 has been raised from the stickers alone.
The stickers are available for order exclusively on Jelly Press’ website here.
Additionally, New Smyrna Beach’s Mayor Russ Owen has donated his entire mayoral salary during this time and has already raised over $6,000 for Foundation 37.
