This month, I sat down with a 14-year-old high schooler who is quickly becoming the style voice of her scene. I wanted her take on what’s trending in the hallways right now, and she gave me the insider scoop.
Graphic tees are the star of the season, but Gen Z isn’t just wearing them oversized. They’re folding one side of the tee and tucking it into their bralettes or sports bras. The result is a playful peekaboo effect—baggy on one side, cinched on the other—for a fresh, effortless vibe.

Pair that with mini denim skirts and the must-have sneaker of the moment, the Adidas Samba, and you have the uniform currently flooding classrooms.
It doesn’t stop at the outfit. This It Girl proves the trend is truly head to toe. Her cherry cola hair color is giving all the fizz this season, adding a rich, glossy finish that ties the whole look together.
The verdict: Gen Z has spoken. High school hallways are the new runways.
