Flagler Avenue’s Newest Boutique offers Unique Finds

Sharing the stories of inspirational locals and dedicated business owners is probably my favorite thing about being the editor of the ECC magazine.
Along the way, I have had the opportunity to create strong relationships with so many wonderful people and I genuinely feel honored to share their stories with you all. Well, this month is no different. Here is the scoop on Randie Jayne Bloomhall’s newly opened boutique, and the creative journey that led her to opening the absolutely fabulous Boho Collective Company.

Located along historic Flagler Avenue, inside the Shops at the Colony, there is a quaint courtyard that is lined with businesses including Shades of NSB – a specialty sunglass store, Fusion 420 who specializes in an assortment of CBD products and now, as of March 2022, Boho Collective Co. boutique. It is tucked in the back corner, but is easy to spot as the 6-foot mannequin out front has been painted gold and covered in gold glitter, which you will soon find out is Randie’s signature look inside.

When you step through the door, it’s like stepping into another world. The room is bursting with colors, textures, fragrances and an all around positive vibe that you can actually feel. The shop is an extension of Randie’s personal lifestyle and she has created a space so inviting and fun to be in. It’s like shopping with that one friend who knows exactly how to pick out the right outfit. Let’s face it, there is nothing worse than a bad shopping day. Randie can dress anyone, any age.

Boho fashion, or boho chic combines vibrant colors with bold patterns with a completely funky-fresh feeling. The flowy kimonos, dresses and tops, combined with the details in the jewelry, hats and handbags actually make you feel like you are wearing a piece of artwork. Her boutique has so many styles, perfect for the ever changing Florida weather. It’s all about the layers!

Even though it’s only around 600 square feet you could get lost in it for hours and not even realize it. I can tell you that from personal experience. There are rows of gorgeous clothing all arranged with accessories she has specifically selected to pair perfectly together. Although, in true boho style, she encourages creative freedom in fashion and everything in life.

Q & A with Randie
Q: WHERE ARE YOU ORIGINALLY FROM?
A: “I am originally from Iowa, but made beautiful New Smyrna Beach my home five years ago.”
Q: IS THIS YOUR FIRST BOUTIQUE?
A: “Before relocating here, I took part in opening and growing a business where I created and executed a successful fashion boutique. Prior to that, the majority of my life I have been in the fashion retail industry and it is absolutely what I am the most passionate about and what my calling is for this life.”
Q: WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE SETS YOU APART?
A: “I believe the uniqueness of my space will bring the love of all kinds to experience it! Not only do we offer women’s clothing, but as it suggests in the name – it is a ‘collective’ of all things I personally love. From self help books/journals, metaphysical items, fashion accessories, smaller home goods, to candles, incense and sage. I would love to meet all of you, so please stop in and say, ‘Hey!’ You won’t be disappointed, because if anything you’ll at least make a new friend (me)! Until then…”
Be authentically YOU!
