The law firm of Wright & Casey, P.A. is pleased to announce that attorney Barbara C. Reid has become board certified by The Florida Bar in the area of Condominium and Planned Development Law.
Barbara Reid Earns Florida Bar Board Certification in Condominium Law
Reid is one of only three attorneys in Volusia County to earn this certification. Board certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of the competency and experience of attorneys in the areas of law approved for certification. Barbara’s achievement reflects her expertise and commitment to serving our clients and enhances our firm’s ability to represent condominium and homeowners’ associations in a wide range of legal matters.

What It Takes to Become Board Certified in Florida
Florida Bar board certified lawyers must have a minimum of five years in law practice, demonstrate substantial involvement in the field of law for which certification is sought, pass a written certification exam, and undergo a peer review assessment of their competence, character, ethics, and professionalism in the practice of law.
Only seven percent of Florida’s licensed attorneys are board certified in the 27 areas of certification. Fewer than 200 of Florida’s licensed attorneys are board certified in Condominium and Planned Development Law.
Ms. Reid practices in the areas of community association law and general civil litigation.
