MEET THE ARTIST BEHIND GUTTER PUNK TRASH CO.
Some people are natural creators — they can turn conversations into poetry, thrift store finds into fashion, and everyday moments into something memorable. Noah Rife is one of those people. With a style that’s funky, fresh and completely his own, Noah’s creativity runs through everything he touches, whether it’s music, clothing, or the way he connects with people.
Noah’s creative journey started on the road, traveling with poets across the country. Armed with typewriters, they would set up at festivals and create poems or laminated cards after deep conversations with strangers. “It was like talk therapy,” Noah said. “You’d sit and chat, and at the end you’d have this little piece of the moment to take with you.” Payment was whatever people wanted to give — it was more about the connection than the cash.
NOAH RIFE’S JOURNEY INTO MUSIC AND UPCYCLED FASHION
Sewing didn’t come into Noah’s life until two years ago, when he met his girlfriend Camille, who taught him the basics. What started with small trinket bags quickly evolved into hoodies and clothing made from thrifted blankets and vintage materials. Upcycling became a way to mix his love for storytelling with fashion— each piece carrying a past life into a new one.

Music has been part of Noah’s world for as long as he can remember. He started on bass guitar in third grade and later dove into producing electronic music, reggae and even pop. From 2017 to 2021, he poured himself into creating and self-released three albums on SoundCloud.
WHERE TO FIND NOAH RIFE’S WORK
After years of being on the road for festivals, Noah has finally settled into life in New Smyrna Beach, working at Beachside Tavern and staying close to the creative pulse that drives him. Whether he’s behind a sewing machine, a guitar, or a conversation, Noah is always finding a way to turn moments into art.
His custom hoodies, hats and statement pieces are available online — and if you’ve got something special you want to turn into wearable art, Noah’s your guy.
