If you’re looking for pure joy wrapped in fur and floppy ears, look no further than Oak Aged Farm in Saint Cloud. Just an hour and a half south of Volusia County, this five-acre, family-owned farm invites visitors to slow down and soak up life on the farm, one goat cuddle at a time. Specializing in connecting families to farm life through hands-on animal interactions, Oak Aged Farm is home to a lively herd of Nigerian dwarf goats, chickens, and even a mini pony.

THINGS TO DO AT OAK AGED FARM
Our visit started with a quick check-in at the front barn. After a quick overview of what to expect, we were led into a shaded area dotted with picnic tables. It was calm and peaceful… for about a minute. Then the “floodgates”opened—and 60 goats came sprinting toward us, eager for treats, attention, and snuggles.
Chaos erupted instantly, but in the best possible way. Goats climbed onto tables, snuggled into laps, and hungrily nudged for treats. Treat containers and bottles are available to purchase—and you’ll want them if you want to make fast friends! The laughter was non-stop as we fed the goats and tried (sometimes unsuccessfully) to keep the treat container hidden to give to more new friends.

Once the initial excitement wound down, the goats became much calmer, milling about for head scratches and attention. That’s when the real magic began: bottle-feeding the babies. The tiniest goats are kept safely tucked away during the treat frenzy, but afterward, they’re brought out for bottle time and extra snuggles. There’s nothing quite like feeling a warm, sleepy baby goat curl up in your arms after its belly is full it’s pure happiness.
The entire experience lasts about an hour, but it’s an hour you’ll wish would never end. Oak Aged Farm visitors often return again and again, and it’s easy to see why. There’s something grounding and joyful about stepping into their world, even if just for a little while.
UPCOMING EVENTS AND FUN ACTIVITIES
Bottle-feeding is an optional add-on to admission (limited quantities), and goat treats are available for purchase online or at the farm. Future events include goat yoga, where you can try your hardest to keep your composure as goats climb and tumble around you. Their hilarious pumpkin carving event is held in the fall, where goats help you “carve” your jack-o’-lanterns by munching away at the pumpkins—another can’t-miss experience.
TICKET PRICES AND VISIT DATES
Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for kids under 12. May’s dates include Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 18. Be sure to check Oak Aged Farm’s website and Facebook page for the latest event details and ticket availability.
Whether you’re looking for a unique family outing, a dose of nature therapy, or simply a new way to spend a sunny afternoon, Oak Aged Farm is a hidden gem that promises laughter, memories, and yes—plenty of goat kisses!

PLAN YOUR VISIT
A few tips before you go: wear closed-toed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a little dusty or muddy—goats have zero respect for clean outfits! You may want to tie back long hair (goats are curious nibblers), and remember that all visitors, no matter their age, need a ticket for entry. No pets allowed. Events are rain or shine, with indoor backup if needed. Heads up: bring your signed waiver, tickets, and arrive 15 minutes prior—events kick off exactly when scheduled!
