Bobby G at PopStroke

We were on the way to PopStroke, so I decided to download their app. I wanted to know what I was getting into – from checking out the menu to scoping out the courses and, of course, getting directions. When we arrived, it felt like stumbling upon an oasis – not in the middle of a desert, but nestled in a bustling outlet mall. With palm trees swaying, music pumping, and a vibrant vibe all around, I knew this was going to be a good time.

Each person purchases a day pass, which gives you access to the entire place and you can utilize any of the areas as many times as you would like throughout that day. You could even leave and come back – as long as it is the same day, you’re good to go. They also provide the putter and TaylorMade golf ball as part of the day pass price.

Things to Do at PopStroke Besides Mini-Golf

While the day wasn’t particularly busy (a cold Friday morning), the entertainment options were endless. Besides the obvious putt-putt courses there were cornhole boards, foosball tables, giant Jenga set up, and a playground for the kids – all within a beautifully landscaped, fully fenced area. Parents can actually relax while the little ones burn off energy. And if you’re a football fan? Every game is on, so you’re covered.

Inside PopStroke’s Mini-Golf Courses

There are two 18-hole courses and we decided to tackle the blue course, which is apparently the more challenging one. The courses were visually stunning, and the “sand traps” were a clever illusion – made of carpet-like turf that looked just like real sand. It’s such a neat touch. Tiffany, AKA my lover of love, was with me, and we were pumped to dive into this adventure. Game faces on.

First hole, and the competition was already heating up. The “sand traps” were no joke; hitting out of them was trickier than it looked. Tiffany (my wife and my rival) was already two feet from the hole, confidently taunting me with zero regard for golf etiquette. Just when I thought she had the upper hand, I pulled off a miraculous hole-in-one on the 10th hole!

Another cool feature? Each hole has a QR code. Scan it, and you can order drinks delivered straight to you on the course. No need to track anyone down or even close out your tab – it’s all done on your phone. Talk about convenience! The whole setup is designed to let you focus on having fun. In fact, anywhere on the property you see a QR code, you can scan and get service without having to find someone.

After the round, we took a breather near the pingpong table and met Chef Kevin. Super friendly guy who whipped up some incredible food for us… more on that in a bit. We also met Josh, the bartender, who made us feel right at home, along with Rachel and Theresa, who were absolutely amazing and ensured we had everything we needed. Honestly, the staff here couldn’t have been nicer. The whole place has this relaxed yet buzzing vibe – full of energy and fun.

PopStroke Food Menu: Best Dishes & Must-Try Eats

Now, the food deserves its own spotlight. Chef Kevin brought out some hummus with perfectly seasoned fresh veggies (cauliflower, broccoli, cucumbers, and carrots) and grilled pita bread. We also had grilled wings tossed in a sweet heat sauce that were tender, flavorful, and absolutely mouthwatering. Then came the nachos, and these weren’t just any nachos. The star of the plate was perfectly prepared ahi tuna, delicately arranged over a bed of house-made tortillas. Topped with fresh avocado, crisp cucumbers, pickled red onions, jalapeños, sriracha, and a sprinkle of black sesame seeds, these nachos were as visually stunning as they were delicious. Every bite was a burst of flavor and freshness, with the ahi tuna stealing the show. Honestly, I’d come back just for those.

Why You Should Visit

PopStroke was created for exactly this kind of day. The concept was to have a place where couples and friends could enjoy drinks and golf while their kids played nearby. Every detail, from the unique course designs (none of them are cookie-cutter) to the thoughtfully curated entertainment, reflects that vision.

PopStroke exceeded all my expectations. The service was top-notch, the food was epic, and the atmosphere was unbeatable. Whether you’re here for the competition, the food, the drinks, or just a fun day out, PopStroke has something for everyone. I’ll definitely be back – and if you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out.

Huge thanks to Chef Kevin, Josh, Rachel, Theresa, and the rest of the team for making our visit unforgettable. From fierce mini-golf battles to relaxing with great food and drinks, it was the perfect day.
