In West Volusia, the seasons are marked not only by the weather but also by the bounty of local farms and vineyards. From juicy blueberries in spring to crisp citrus in winter and pumpkins in the fall, visitors can savor Florida’s flavors year-round while exploring the region’s welcoming agricultural attractions.
SIP AND SAVOR
At Feelgood Farms Winery & Vineyard in Osteen (pictured top right), visitors can relax on a sprawling patio while sipping wines made from estate-grown muscadine grapes. Open year-round Thursday through Sunday, the vineyard also offers craft beer, mimosa flights, and a laid-back atmosphere perfect for picnics. As a proud stop on the CoolCraft Beverage Trail, Feelgood Farms is a must-visit for anyone wanting to explore West Volusia’s culinary side.

Nearby in Pierson, Elliott Vineyards and Spring Garden Vineyard (pictured center right) showcase Florida’s native muscadines in different ways. Elliott Vineyards is known for its community winemaking gatherings and wine club, while Spring Garden Vineyard invites guests each August and September to hand-pick grapes and shop for muscadine jellies, jams, and winemaking supplies at its rustic country store.

FRESH-PICKED FAVORITES
Spring also brings the joy of blueberry season. Greenlund’s Blueberry Farm in Pierson welcomes families to pick from seven varieties of Southern Highbush blueberries under the shade of old oak trees. Alongside blueberries, they offer honey and beeswax candles from their on-site apiary. In DeLand, DeLand Blueberries opens its fields each March through May, with plump blueberries and even peaches ready for picking.
Autumn belongs to the pumpkins at Harvest Fields in north DeLand. Each October, this 100-acre farm becomes a fall playground with a giant corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin picking, and plenty of family-friendly activities.
CITRUS AND MORE
For a true taste of Florida, head to Vo-LaSalle Farms in DeLeon Springs. This fourth-generation farm opens in mid-October with U-pick vegetables and a country store stocked with local honey, marmalades, and dressings. Come November, their citrus groves burst with navel oranges, tangerines, and grapefruit—plus fresh-squeezed juice.
Whether you’re filling a bucket with blueberries, sipping muscadine wine, or wandering a corn maze, West Volusia’s farms and vineyards invite you to slow down and savor the season.
