Angie’s Serenity Day Spa, a cornerstone of wellness in Edgewater, is expanding its offerings this September with the arrival of chiropractor Dr. Jenna Fairchild and the launch of “Cultivando Bilingües,” a new Spanish class for adults.
NEW HEALING EXPERT: DR. JENNA FAIRCHILD
Beginning Sept. 9, Dr. Jenna Fairchild will join the spa’s team, bringing her passion for holistic healing and natural wellness. With certifications in chiropractic care, acupuncture, cupping, cold laser therapy and the Graston Technique, she specializes in treating chronic pain and restoring balance from within. Inspired by her love of the ocean and nature, Dr. Fairchild helps patients reconnect to their energy, guiding them toward healing and living at their fullest potential. Her mission is rooted in a simple belief: “You are the medicine.”
LEARN SPANISH WITH LISSIE
In addition, Angie’s Serenity Day Spa will host “Cultivando Bilingües” from Sept. 5 through Oct. 24, every other Friday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the spa. The classes are designed to provide comfort and ease, offering a unique setting where intermediate learners can strengthen their Spanish skills in a relaxed environment. Snacks and beverages are included.
Classes will be led by Mirthia “Lissie” Feliciano, a retired educator born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. With 36 years in education, 14 of them teaching advanced Spanish at Seabreeze High School, her students consistently earned top district scores, and she was recognized for her teaching excellence. Passionate about sharing the joy of language, she created this program to continue inspiring learners.
Spanish 1 is $200 and Spanish 2 is $250, with space limited to 10 students per class.
With these additions, Angie’s Serenity Day Spa continues to grow as a hub for both wellness and community connection.
