The New Smyrna Beach Board of Realtors® recently recognized two incredible achievements within our community, honoring individual excellence and cultivating future leaders in the real estate profession.

Pride in Profession Award

This year’s Pride in Profession Award was presented to Faith Adams, a dedicated business partner whose commitment to her clients and colleagues exemplifies professionalism at its finest. Nominated by her peers, Faith was recognized for her unwavering diligence in helping clients secure financing in challenging circumstances and successfully closing deals that might have otherwise fallen apart. Her work navigating complex buyer portfolios and condominium loan approvals has not only ensured timely closings but also inspired those around her. Faith’s integrity and perseverance set a high standard, and we are proud to celebrate her as a model of what it means to serve with pride.

The 2025 Leadership Academy graduates

Alongside this recognition, the 2025 Leadership Academy graduates were honored for completing a rigorous program designed to elevate leadership within the Realtor® community. This year’s cohort: Rhee Carter, Emma Dangel, Nate Ingram, Mimi McKee, Margie Palmer, Jana Urchuk, and Robert West spent the past few months developing their leadership skills, strengthening their understanding of the industry, and building lasting connections.

Under the mentorship of Chair Travis Ford, participants explored the history of our association, engaged with past presidents and committee leaders, and experienced firsthand the power of Realtor® advocacy. From touring the Florida Realtors® headquarters to partnering with local community leaders, these graduates learned that leadership reaches beyond offices and transaction tables, it’s about impact, vision, and service.

Both the Pride in Profession honoree and Leadership Academy graduates remind us of what makes the real estate community in New Smyrna Beach so special: dedication, growth, and a shared commitment to excellence.
