A Colorful Day at Crayola Experience Orlando

Crayola Experience is inside the Florida Mall with free parking. Plan to spend 3-4 hours exploring. The Café Crayola and Slime Lab are open on weekends only. Check the website for special events and retired crayon appearances. Tickets include all-day access to 25+ attractions and that sweet little burst of nostalgia for grown-ups who still remember the smell of a brand-new crayon box. Use our special Crayola coupon to get $5 off your tickets.

The Walters at the Crayola Experience Orlando

The first time we visited Crayola Experience in Orlando, Avery was around two years old and utterly mesmerized by the colors, characters, and activities. Back then, she mostly just wanted to get messy. Fast-forward a few years and we recently went back—this time with a much more independent and very opinionated artist on our hands—and she loved it even more the second time around. Crayola Experience is so much more than just coloring (though don’t worry, there’s plenty of that too). It’s an explosion of hands-on creativity spread over 70,000 square feet inside the Florida Mall. Yes—it’s indoors, air conditioned, AND free parking. That makes it a win for the summer!

TOP ATTRACTIONS INSIDE CRAYOLA EXPERIENCE ORLANDO

One of the newest attractions is Meltdown, where you can dip into vats of hot, UV-reflective wax and create glowing wax paintings. We could’ve spent all day there, but there was way more crayon-inspired fun waiting.

At the Wrap It Up station, Avery got to design and print her own personalized crayons, complete with custom names and the date of our visit. Limited edition retired colors are also back in rotation, and you can meet some of the “retired” mascot crayons. We were lucky enough to snag a photo with Dandelion, who’s enjoying his retirement as a full-time celebrity.

WHAT YOUR TICKET INCLUDES

Your ticket includes two tokens, which you can use to make your crayons, grab a pack of air-dry clay, or go wild at one of the colorful vending machines offering things like crayon packs and silly putty. Each guest also receives a voucher for a Scribble Scrubby pet—you color it, wash it, and color again, with sinks and dryers on site. Trust me, it’s as addictive as it sounds!

We also created clay sculptures, spun melted wax into drip art masterpieces, turned ourselves into animated cartoons, and burned off some energy in the indoor playground. The cherry on top? A hands-on (and very gooey) Slime Lab class where Avery made her own marbled slime (extra fee). With so much to explore, you’ll head back time and time again for more. Color us impressed!
