Save the date for Saturday, May 11, 2024, when The Event makes its highly-anticipated return to the New Smyrna Beach Sports Complex multipurpose field, situated at 1800 Turnbull Bay Road. Get ready for a day filled with family-friendly competition, camaraderie and unwavering community support.
Open to participants of all ages, The Event 2024 is a one-day competition that invites everyone to showcase their skills and join in the fun. From 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, participants will have the chance to compete in a variety of games, each designed to test their athletic prowess and agility. Admission for competitors is $30 per ticket, which includes an event T-shirt and a raffle ticket for the chance to win prizes donated by local businesses.
How It Works: The games are designed to be fun and straightforward, with participants having three chances to score points in each game. Each game station will have an attendant to provide instructions and mark scorecards. With each game taking approximately 10 minutes to complete, participants can enjoy a fast-paced and exciting day of competition.

The Games: Participants can test their skills in a range of sports-themed challenges, including basketball, soccer, football and baseball. From free throws to penalty kicks, field goals to hitting targets, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and excel at.
The After Party: Following the competition, all winners will be announced at the after party, starting at 3:00 pm on the back porch of Lost Lagoon Wings and Grill, located at 2004 N. Dixie Freeway in New Smyrna Beach. Attendees can look forward to delicious food, fantastic prizes, and plenty of fun as they celebrate the day’s achievements.

Sponsorship Opportunities: There are so many ways to get involved with the incredible community event, including two levels of sponsorships. Corporate Sponsor: $500 Donation that includes your logo on the back of the official game day shirts, 2 tickets to compete in the games, 2 game day shirts, a 10×10 vendor space at the event and recognition on the website. Game Sponsor: $200 Donation that includes your business name and logo on a sign at a game station during the event, 1 ticket to compete in the games, 1 game day shirt and recognition on our website.
Donations: For those unable to attend but still wishing to contribute, donations can be made securely online through PayPal or Venmo, or by cash or check at any of our events.
The Event is hosted by Table 2 Committee, a group of locals coming together to celebrate the memories of two dear friends, Ryan Michelbrink and Dave Fernandez. In honor of their legacy and love for sports and community, The Event was established to provide a day of fun while giving back to the youth sports programs in Volusia county.
