Daytona Beach Shores Issues Traffic Citations, Tows Trucks During Unsanctioned Truck Meet

The Daytona Beach Shores Department of Public Safety issued 688 traffic citations and towed 46 trucks between Friday and Sunday, June 10-12, during the unsanctioned truck meet. Public Safety Officers made 29 misdemeanor and six felony arrests, with felonies including carrying a concealed firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, narcotics violations and wanted persons.
