Veterans Day Celebration & Luncheon

Thursday, November 9th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM @ Senior Center – Council on Aging, 351 Andrews St., Ormond Beach

FREE FOR VETERANS; $7 for guests!

Veterans Day Ceremony at OMAM

The Ormond Memorial Art and Museum will pay tribute to those who defend our freedom at their annual Veterans Day ceremony. Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens was founded in 1946 by Ormond Beach residents as a living monument to creative freedom and equality of all persons, and to commemorate the service of World War I and World War II veterans who fought valiantly for that ideal. The community event is held under a large tent in the parking lot with music, inspiring speakers, and light refreshments. The event is free and open to the public. Ample free parking can be found behind The Casements and St. James Episcopal Church.

DeLand

Volusia County Veterans Day Parade

Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ 100 North Woodland Boulevard
DeLand, FL 32720

Honor those who have served our nation at this heartwarming annual parade. It features veterans of all branches of service, as well as military vehicles, marching bands, and patriotic floats on Woodland Blvd. It is our goal to honor the sacrifices of all veterans and their families in a celebration in historic Downtown DeLand. 

Port Orange

Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Veterans Park, 4655 City Center Circle, Port Orange

Join the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3282 and the Parks and Recreation Department in honoring those brave soldiers that served our country and fought for our freedom. The ceremony will be held at Veterans Park, located at in City Center Park, at 10 AM.

New Smyrna Beach

VETERANS DAY CEREMONY

Saturday, November 11 @ 10 AM – 2 PM at Riverside Park, 299 S Riverside Dr, New Smyrna Beach, FL

Join us for a Veterans Day Celebration featuring The Resilient—an American rock band primarily composed of severely wounded U.S. combat veterans—as well as food trucks, classic cars, children’s activities, vendor booths, and more starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 outside of the Brannon Center on Riverside Park, 105 S. Riverside Dr. Elected officials scheduled to speak include U.S. Representative Cory Mills, State Senator Tom Wright, and State Representative Chase Tramont.

Deltona

Daytona Beach

Veterans Day Celebration with the USO

“I WANT YOU” to join us for an evening of cocktails and exclusive tours as we commemorate Veterans Day at MOAS. Take in gallery tours of our new exhibit – World War II: Stories from the American Experience with MOAS Senior Curator of History James “Zach” Zacharias and historian Ryan Lowry, as they guide you through over 100 artifacts, some quite unusual and rare. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks, featuring classic recipes from the World War II era home front. The USO (United Service Organizations) will be lending their support as well. Military members past and present are invited to wear their uniforms.

5:00pm Cocktail hour, featuring home-front-inspired food and drinks.

6:00pm Gallery tours by Senior Curator of History with James “Zach” Zacharias and historian Ryan Lowry.

A portion of proceeds from this event will go directly to the USO.

$25.00 for members, $30.00 for non-members. Additional donations are encouraged.
