Bioluminescence Paddle Tour 2023
When: July 4 · 8:30pm – 10:30pm
Where: Sunrise Park Oak Hill 275 River Road Oak Hill, FL
NOTE: We consider this an intermediate paddle since it takes place at night.
Tours launch from Sunrise Park, 275 River Road, Oak Hill. Tickets are limited so don’t hesitate to sign up. There is some light pollution but this is a great location to view the bioluminescence especially if you are nervous about paddling at night or if you want to experience it with your kids.

If you have your own vessel and equipment you are welcome to join us at no fee. Please select a BYOB ticket to let us know you will be attending. Tips are appreciated but not expected.
Our Inner Compass Eco Adventures guests will set out on paddle boards or kayaks at the scheduled launch time. Please be on site no later than 45 minutes prior to our departure for a safety briefing and instructions.
We will provide lessons to anyone who needs them.
We will begin our paddle adventure as darkness sets in and the bioluminescence begins to illuminate. We will paddle around a few islands in the shallow water and chase the jumping mullet, darting fish, and ghostly larger fish under the surface until our tour ends back at our launch site.
We highly recommend taking in this adventure on one of our paddle boards. They are sturdy and give you an amazing vantage point for the bioluminescent glow around you. You can sit if you like and the boards make it easy to put your hands in the water to experience the sparkles.
Your tour guides will have everything ready when you arrive and will load all the equipment when you’re finished. All you have to do is show up and enjoy the evening.
Price: $55.00 per person, $75 for a tandem kayak (2 people). Cost does not include sales tax and convenience fees. BYOB is free.
Age: 8 and up can attend but your child must be age 12 and strong and big enough to paddle their own board. Otherwise they will need to ride on a board with you.
Please bring any snacks and non alcoholic drinks with you. All boards have bungees to secure personal items.
Inner Compass Eco Adventures provides:
-Paddle board or kayak and paddle, PFD, Whistle, safety light
-Brief paddle board lesson and guides by your side.
