The Great NSB Margarita Tour

April 1 – May 1 along Flagler Avenue, NSB

Margarita Madness has come to Flagler Avenue! The 2023 Margarita Tour runs from April 1st – May 1st with multiple tasty takes on the Classic Margarita. 

Grab your Tour Map from any participating location, or go to Party On Flagler – The Party’s on Flagler Avenue for more information.

Purchase your full sized margarita during the tour dates, collect your stamps with each purchase, once all stamps are collected, drop your Tour Map in the mailbox by 401 Flagler Avenue.

Daytona Beach Arts Fest

Sat – Sun. April 8 – 9 in downtown Daytona Beach / Beach Street

The second annual Daytona Beach Arts Fest will take place April 8-9 in Downtown Daytona Beach on Beach Street, Orange Ave to Bay Street.

The Daytona Beach Arts Fest will offer a social experience where you can view artist works and installation, listen to local music, take part in a live painting competition and more. The Riverfront Shop of Daytona Beach offer a historically beautiful backdrop as you relax, have a drink, and eat and become part of a community with family and friends.

Festival hours are Saturday, April 8, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 9, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Movie in the Park – DC League of Super Pets

Friday @ 7:30 PM at Veterans Memorial Park, 476 S Volusia Ave, Orange City

Movie in the Park is held at Veterans Memorial Park, 476 South Volusia Ave
The movie will begin at dusk (Approximately 7:30 pm); movie area will open one hour before the movie begins. Movie admission and popcorn are free. Hot dogs and drinks for sale. Movie showings are weather permitting.

Movie Etiquette: For the enjoyment of all, please place cell phones on silence during the movie and no smoking. Thank you.

NEW THIS YEAR! is the addition of the Saturday Night Sunset Concert to the Daytona Beach Arts Fest. The Sunset Concert is from 5-9 PM on the Jeep Beach Main Stage. Come for the Arts Fest and stay for the show! The Easter Eve Sunset Concert Jeep Beach Main Stage will be located in Riverfront Esplanade Park at the scenic Veterans Plaza on Beach Street located between ISB and Bay Street. This is an outdoor venue overlooking the Intracoastal waterway. If you haven’t seen the Riverfront’s renovations, you’re in for a surprise!

SteeLn’ Peaches is an Allman Brothers Band Revue and is the perfect band to bring the passion and talent needed to play ABB’s music! SteeLn’ Peaches promises a great show that is not your average Allman Brothers Band Tribute!

Kicking it off
Ben Prestage – known as “The World’s Greatest One Man Band!” will take the stage from 5-6:30 PM followed by SteeLn’ Peaches from 7-9 PM. Ben Prestage’s musical background began before he was born… even before his parents were born. Ben’s great-grandmother was a Vaudeville musician who toured with Al Jolson and also participated in medicine shows. Her daughter was a Boogie-Woogie pianist and painter who used to play for Ben when he was coming up. On the other side of the family tree, his grandfather, who was a Mississippi sharecropper turned Ben onto the sounds and culture of Mississippi and Blues in general.

★ VIP tickets are limited and include seating at a table in the front center section and one complimentary alcoholic beverage/person. ($50)
★ Stage Left and Stage Right tickets include seating at a table and one complimentary alcoholic beverage/person. ($40)
★ General Admission tickets include a seat. ($20)
★ BYOC – Bring your own chair – there are good site lines to the stage in the grassy area of the park (FREE)

► There are several Downtown Daytona Restaurants within walking distance of the concert. There will also be several Food Trucks at the concert.

► Beverages-There will be bars onsite serving Beer, wine, alcohol, water and soft drinks.
► Beach street will be closed to traffic but there is ample free parking in the Downtown area on side streets and behind the Riverfront Shops.

MOAS Space Day

Join in at the Museum’s biggest celestial event of the year as we celebrate all things space in an engaging and interactive environment for the whole family. Learn about the science, exploration, and beauty of space through exciting lectures, shows in the Lohman Planetarium, hands-on activities, and solar observing with telescopes in our front entrance courtyard (weather permitting). Throughout the Museum, there will be displays and activities from MOAS, the GE Volunteers, ERAU’s ERFSEDS Rocket Club, Amateur Astronomy Club, the Society of Women Engineers, and Astronomy Professors from the University’s Physical Sciences Department. A food truck will also be set up in our courtyard loop for your enjoyment. Stay tuned for our speaker and show lineup in the Lohman Planetarium. We cannot wait to see you for this out-of-this-world event.

Free for members or with paid museum admission. Tickets for planetarium presentations are included with admission and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Street Art Competition – April 8

A vibrant and exciting event showcasing artists’ talents from all over. The competition features various styles and techniques, from photorealistic portraits to abstract designs. The artists use pastels on pavement to create their masterpieces, which are both beautiful and temporary. The competition will transform the streets of Downtown Daytona Beach and brings the community together… an excellent opportunity to see the artists at work, interact with them and vote for your favorite. It’s a fun, interactive experience for all ages.
