This Annual Corn Maze in October is a family fun-filled day. Find your way through one of the largest corn mazes in Central Florida, and enjoy fun activities on the 100-acre working farm, including the pumpkin patch, giant hay fort, corn cannon, round bale racers, duck races, corn hole,  corn box, post pounder and mini hay maze. The Corn Maze is open on weekends only, October 8-31, from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Food and vendors on site. Pumpkins for sale in the pumpkin patch. We are excited to Introduce FIELDS OF FRIGHT, this spooky haunted hayride event, will be every weekend through Halloween.

We are the same wholesome family corn maze event by day but parents please advise this event is NOT recommended for small children (under 10) the terror is real. Happy Haunting and hope to see you there!

Great Flagler Avenue Pumpkin Hunt

It’s time for the Great Flagler Avenue Pumpkin Hunt! Download your free pumpkin map today and start your search for nine hidden pumpkins along Flagler Avenue.

Once you find a pumpkin visit the host business and get your hunt stamp. Once you collected all nine stamps, drop your map off at the Seahorse Inn located at 431 Flagler Avenue.

One correct entry will win a free weekend. The Great Flagler Avenue Pumpkin Hunt runs from October 15th through the 30th

It’s time for the Halloween Display at the Schoolcraft’s Residence. Tucked away at 111 Pine Creek Ct. We are Ormond Beach’s Best kept Secret!

Be sure to bring your family and friends for a holiday experience to remember. Our Halloween Display has lighted walkways that are filled with inflatable characters and music.

Our display is open daily from 5:30pm till 10:00pm. Be sure to check our Facebook page for weather updates.

Our Display is free to Everyone! However, Donations are appreciated and will help us continue to operate the display for Free. Donation boxes are located throughout the display.

In the event of inclement weather including windy conditions, we will post delays and closures of the display on our Facebook page should that need to happen.

Carn-O-Ween

Thursday Oct 28 – Sunday Oct 31 @ Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex in Deltona

Deltona Parks & Recreation is excited to unveil a new Halloween event at the Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex this year, Carn-O-Ween is Oct. 28 through Oct. 31 this year. It features the return of the Magic Midways Carnival. The carnival is is open from 5 to 11 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 28-29.

On Saturday, Deltona Parks & Recreation has also planned lots of fun activities at the park. Beginning at 2 p.m. there will be food trucks, a live DJ, costume contests for a variety of age groups (beginning just after 6 p.m.), hayrides, bounce houses, trick-or-treating, a face painter and a variety of vendors.

Deltona Parks & Recreation will also host a Thriller Dance Off on Saturday, for kids and teens involved in community dance groups. Dances must be choreographed to Michael Jackson’s 1982 single, “Thriller.” Groups wishing to enter should email, mbrown@deltonafl.gov.

The Magic Midways Carnival is also open from 1 to 11 p.m. on Saturday and then again from 1 to 10 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31 (Halloween). Advanced/discounted tickets are available online.

Dewey O. Boster is located at 1200 Saxon Blvd. in Deltona.

Halloween Yard Walkthrough – Port Orange

October 28 – 31 @ 832 W. Pine Forest Trail, Port Orange (private residence)

Come join us for our 9th annual Halloween yard walk-through!
As you walk through our display you will come across homemade props, animatronics, lights, fog, spooky music, and if you’re lucky you may get a scare or two from our dressed-up characters.

Our display runs from 6pm-9pm Oct 28th-Oct 29th and 6-10pm Oct 30th-Oct 31st
All ages are welcomed but please be advised that we do have moving props and adults in costume which may be scary for some children.

As always, this event is free. Donations will be accepted but are not required to come and have a haunted time.

We are located across from Spruce Creek Elementary School in the County Side Subdivision.

2021 Community Trunk or Treat

5 – 7 PM @ Daytona Beach Drive In Christian Church

Dress up those kiddos, grab the dog’s leash (and the dog!) and come on out to the Drive In Church for a night of FREE fun and lots of candy!

We are opening up this event to local businesses! If you’re a local business and would like to provide a decorated trunk, a fun activity for the kids to do, some light advertising, and tons of candy to give away then this is the event for you!

You can email RevMelissa@driveinchurch.net to register your business. There is no charge for you to participate, we just ask that your décor be church-friendly/appropriate. We LOVE hosting safe and fun events for our local families!

The Annual Halloween Scavenger Hunt and Costume Contest at the Daytona Flea & Farmer’s Market is great fun every year! Join us on Saturday, October 30th for a day of family fun. The scavenger hunt is open to kids up to age 12. The costume contest has 6 age categories, including one for adults. 

The market-wide scavenger hunt starts at 11 AM. Pick up a special clue map at the Information Booth when the hunt starts and locate candy and fun prizes throughout the market. 

Our Snack Shacks have $2.50 kids meals all day long. Trophies, certificates and flea bucks are awarded to contest winners and 2 runners-up in each age category.

Eco Halloween Hike @ the Lyonia Environmental Center

Saturday from 10:30 – 11:30 AM at the Lyonia Environmental Center, 2150 Eustace Ave., Deltona

Adults and kids can put on their environmental thinking caps, engage their creativity and dress in their best ecology themed costumes for this outdoor adventure. Staff will discuss important environmentalists during a hike to Lyonia Preserve’s wetland. Participants will receive treats, and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.

We are back again for Ormond Beach’s largest Halloween Celebration! We will have Trunks, Music, Haunted House and so much more!

Haunted House Note: In order to help stop the spread of Covid 19, we will be allowing one family/friend group at a time through the haunted house. This may cause a longer line, but we are firmly devoted to keeping people safe by not crowding people in spaces.

Tanger Outlets Carnival

October 21 – 31 @ Tanger Outlets, 1100 Cornerstone Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32117

Enjoy midway rides and games for all ages, favorite fair food, and Halloween festivities hosted by Tanger Outlets Daytona Beach on Fri., Oct. 29 from 5:30-8 pm. 

Event parking and admission are free. Unlimited ride wristbands are $35 on site and online pre-sale (before 5 pm Oct. 21) for $29, 2/$55 or 4/$99. (Ride wristbands are valid Monday – Friday from 5 pm-closing and Saturday – Sunday from noon-6 pm.) See website for ride ticket prices, pre-sale savings, and coupons for rides and food. 

Carnival hours are 5-10 pm Monday – Thursday, 5-11 pm Friday, noon-11 pm Saturday, and noon-10 pm Sunday at 1100 Cornerstone Blvd.

Halloween Among the Trees

Sunday from 10 – 11:30 AM @ Lyonia Environmental Center, 2150 Eustace Ave, Deltona, FL

Outdoor event:  Parents can bring their little goblins to enjoy a non-spooky adventure that includes crafts and encounters with the LEC’s scaly reptile ambassadors.

Participants will search for creepy, crawling creature tracks along the trails of Lyonia Preserve.

Afterward, friendly costumed characters will hand out treats while the group explores the pollinator garden.
