Fireworks and Pets:
State law allows for Fireworks on the 4th of July. BUT not everyone likes fireworks. Remember our pets are more sensitive to loud noises, flashing lights and strong smells. It is best to leave your pets safely indoors, preferably with a radio or TV turned on to soften jarring noises. Below are more tips to help keep your pets safe.

Thursday, JULY 1
Independence Holiday Block Party

Kick off the July 4th weekend with a bang at the Independence Day Block Party at Tanger Outlets Daytona Beach, Thursday, July 1 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Enjoy live music, kids fun zone, beer and wine garden, animal adoptions, face painting and more! The Independence Day Block Party will take place near Under Armour, don’t miss the fun!
Friday, JULY 2
All-American Celebration and Carnival
July 2 – 5 @ Dewey O Boster Sports Complex, Deltona

Deltona Parks & Recreation has planned an All-American Celebration for the extended July 4th holiday including a four-day carnival and fireworks at the Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex.
Magic Midways will bring tons of carnival attractions (Century Ferris Wheel, Ciclone (sic), Ali Baba, Music Express, Drop Zone, Sea Ray, Orbiter, Cliff Hanger, Bumper Cars, Round Up, Tilt-A-Whirl, Merry Go Round, Giant Slide, Orient Express, Dizzy Dragon, Circus Train, Bees Mini Jet, Wiggle Wurm (sic), Kiddie Jet Ski and Kiddie Spinner) and carnival food including popcorn, cotton candy, candy apples, sno-cones, pickles, funnel cakes, elephant ears, fried Oreos, fried Snickers, fresh lemonade and other drinks.
Ride tickets are $1.50 per ticket, $25 for 20, or $50 for 50. Unlimited ride wristbands ($25) will be available daily. The carnival will be open from 5 to 11 p.m., July 2; 3 to 11 p.m., July 3; 1 to 9 p.m., July 4, and from 3 to 10 p.m., July 5. Discounted tickets are available from Magic Midways.
On July 4th, area food trucks will begin offering a variety of options around noon. At 3 p.m., a face painter, and a caricature artist will be available along with bounce houses. These are provided for free courtesy of Deltona Parks & Recreation. Tips are appreciated for the artists. There will also be many different vendors. Live entertainment begins at 6 p.m. and the annual fireworks display will begin around 9 p.m.
Food trucks will also be in the park beginning at noon on July 3.
Saturday, JULY 3
Firecracker Festival

Ice Cream Social
12 – 5 PM along Flagler Avenue, NSB

I scream You Scream, We all SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!!! Come down to Flagler Avenue in New Smyrna Beach, Saturday, July 3rd, from Noon – 5 pm, and taste all the different types of Ice Cream prepared in multiple different ways! Guests use their tasting passports to visit the host sites and to try an array of ice cream flavors during the event! Tasting passports and maps are $15.
For persons who are purchasing their passports on Eventbrite, they can be picked up at the corner of S. Cooper Street and Flagler Avenue on the day of the event. Passports will be for sale on the day of the event starting at 11:30 am, however, we strongly suggest pre-ordering your passport here as WE COULD SELL OUT!
Parking is plentiful throughout the Flagler Avenue arts-entertainment-shopping district on pocket parking lots, side streets, and lots behind many of the businesses.

Concerts at the Bandshell

Sunday, July 4: Alter Eagles – an Eagles tribute at 7:15 p.m. This concert is SOLD OUT of $4 and $10 admission tickets. Fireworks will begin at 9:45 p.m.

In a post on June 29, the Daytona Beach Bandshell announced the following:
In an effort to prevent ticket scalping and inflated ticket costs, The Friends of the Bandshell will be releasing 78 ten dollar ($10) admission tickets for sale at the Bandshell Box Office only starting at 12 p.m. on the day of each Star Spangled Summer Bandshell concert, subject to availability. Tickets cannot be put on hold or purchased in advance. These tickets are sold on a first come, first serve basis. When these tickets are sold out, the event is sold out (other than Resale tickets on Ticketmaster). The Bandshell cannot guarantee the tickets that are released will be available for your party on the day of the event, please call the Box Office, 386-671-3472, or check Ticketmaster.com for ticket availability on the day of the show before arriving to the venue.

Red, White, & Blue Pub Crawl
7 – 11 pm along Main Street, Daytona Beach

As part of the Red, White & Blue Block Party on Saturday, July 3, Main Street bars will be hosting a Tropical Drink Pub Crawl from 7-11pm.
Tickets are $15/person in advance (through Friday, July 2 and $20/person day of the event. Tickets are available at Eventbrite (https://red-white-blue-pub-crawl.eventbrite.com) and at the event until they sell out.
Pub Crawl attendees will receive a full-size (9 oz) Tropical drink from each of the five participating Main Street bars. These specialty tropical drinks are sure to make participants say Happy Birthday, America!

DeBary Freedom Fest

Family fun for the citizens by the citizens. Come and enjoy a day with your family and neighbors. Kid zone sponsored by Grace Baptist Church, games, prizes. Local vendors, local restaurants. Adult fun. Beer garden. LIVE MUSIC by Rockit Fly and DeBary’s own Grindstone Sinners. Ending the evening with a wonderful synced fireworks display.
Lake Helen Parade and Celebration

Port Orange 4th of July Spectacular
5:30 – 9 PM @ City Center Park, 1000 City Center Circle, Port Orange

Come celebrate Independence Day in style! Port Orange Parks & Recreation will be hosting the 4th of July Spectacular from 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm at City Center Park. The event will include live music, a kids zone, food trucks, a beer garden, classic car show, and of course FIREWORKS! This year’s event will be spaced out to promote social distancing. The kids zone will be extended with more dry inflatables and just one large water slide. Hayfire will be live on stage starting at 5:30 pm, and the fireworks will launch from the soccer field parking lot at 9:00 pm. Beer garden proceeds benefit the Port Orange Community Trust. Classic cars can begin arriving as early as 4:00 pm and must be parked by 5:30 pm.
Outriggers’ Reed White and Blue
7 – 10:30 PM @ Outriggers Tiki Bar and Grille, 300 Boatyard Street, NSB

Join us this 4th of July for a very special celebration of America! Outriggers will be hosting our “Party on the Pad” featuring the musical talents of Reed Foley and his complete band. The concert will be from 7-10:30 with a break for the fireworks of course! Come enjoy our cookout style food offerings ~ great drink specials from Jack Daniels ~ Ice Cold Beer from Budweiser ~ and THE BEST SPOT IN TOWN TO WATCH THE FIREWORKS. Ormond Beach Independence Day Celebration
8 – 9:30 PM @ Rockefeller Gardens, 26 Riverside Drive, Ormond Beach

There’s no place better to celebrate our nation’s 245 years of freedom than beside the beautiful Halifax River in Ormond Beach. Citizens and visitors can enjoy entertainment and a relaxed atmosphere celebration with no admission fee at Ormond Beach’s Annual Independence Day Celebration.
Food vendors include Ritter’s Frozen Custard, Stoke Poke, & Kona Ice. The band is License to Steal.
The finale of this celebration will consist of one of the area’s best fireworks displays! Fireworks by Santore begin the show promptly at 9:00 p.m. on the Halifax River just south of the Granada Bridge. This event attracts vistors from all across the state, so you don’t want to miss the celebration.

EDGEfest 4th of July Celebration
Starting at 6 PM @ Hawks Park, US1 and Turgot Ave, Edgewater

Plans are set for this year’s 4th of July celebration. It will look different but it will be just as much fun. This year’s fireworks show by Zambelli Fireworks will have a new location – the western end of Hawks Park behind the Southeast Volusia Family YMCA (148 West Park Avenue).
This location will allow spectators to view the stunning annual fireworks display from either the comfort of their vehicles in a large grassy parking area or from a blanket or chair in the soccer fields. Vendors will be located in between both locations so a cool treat, drink or snack is never far away.
The event takes place on Sunday, July 4, 2021 and begins at 6:00 PM with fireworks at dusk.

NSB 4th of July Celebration
4 – 9:15 PM @ Riverside Park, 299 S. Riverside Drive, New Smyrna Beach

Enjoy gourmet food trucks, live music, and a brilliant fireworks display all from picturesque Riverside Park at 299 S. Riverside Dr. as our annual 4th of July Celebration returns to New Smyrna Beach this year!
- 4 p.m.: Food trucks open for business in the Brannon Center parking lot
- 5 to 9 p.m.: Live musical performance featuring rock n’ roll and high energy dance music from the 1950s to the 80s by Cactus Jack & the Cadillacs under the Riverside Park gazebo
- 9:15 p.m.: Fireworks display begins
