Did you know thattortoises are turtles, but not all turtles are tortoises?Celebrate World Turtle Day in the LEC’s Discovery Room by exploring the differences, picking up some fun facts about local species, and meeting the center’s resident turtle ambassadors. Staff will also discuss some Citizen Science projects.
Touch a Truck

Touch-A-Truck is a free family-friendly event that provides children and families the opportunity to explore a variety of vehicles and to see the people that build, protect and serve the community. In addition to government service vehicles, attendees can see and take pictures with local, small-business vehicles. This event is hosted by the Holly Hill Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the city of Holly Hill.Located at Holly Hill City Hall, this event will feature family-friendly entertainment, a Vendor Zone and Food Stations from local businesses.There will be a horn free hour from 11:00am-12:00pm. Social distancing will be encouraged, and masks are recommended.Sponsorships are still available. Beach Bike Bar Crawl

Saturday @ 10:30 AM beginning at Ocean Deck, 127 S. Ocean Ave., Daytona Beach
Join the 8th Annual Beach Bike Bar Crawl on May 22nd 2021! All to raise funds for our local Veteran’s Support Group.
Check In/Registration starts at 8:30 am, the crawl will start at 10:30 am on the beach.
Tickets are $20 both in advance and the day of the event.
With your registration, you will receive an event t-shirt and raffle tickets for prizes just for participants! This is rain or shine and non-refundable. This year you can order your shirt size while registering! We will not ship it, you can pick your shirt up the day of the event.
