9th Annual DeLandapalooza Original Music & Art Festival

This monumental event will feature original music from over 100 local and regional acts on 14 stages held throughout the historic downtown DeLand district. The festival features a wide array of musical styles from local and regional acts for all ages to enjoy consisting of Rock, Jazz, Blues, Country, Hip Hop, Electronica, Folk, Christian Rock, Metal, Reggae and more. Other activity’s include an Art Show consisting of over 15 area artists as well as a wide variety of various vendors, food trucks and a beer garden.

Daytona Beach Downtown Farmers Market

The Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon. It’s a great place to buy locally-grown produce, baked goods, plants, local honey, jams and jellies,juices, handmade jewerly and craft items, Kettle Korn, meat pies, BBQ and other prepared foods, and more! 

The Daytona Beach Downtown Farmers’ Market moved one block away from its former home on CIty Island to its new location on Magnolia Avenue, a new venue known as Market@Magnolia, between Beach Street and Palmetto Avenue.

Plenty of free parking is available for Market@Magnolia in the public lots behind Beach Street merchants and is accessible from Palmetto Avenue.

Celebrate Florida’s rich maritime and lighthouse history by visiting the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Museum on Florida Lighthouse Day on Saturday, April 17! Explore one of the nation’s largest and most authentic light stations and climb 175 feet to the top of Florida’s tallest lighthouse. Discover the fascinating history of the state’s 30 surviving lighthouses and the need to preserve them as you tour the world famous Ponce Inlet Lighthouse Museum. Enjoy fun, family-oriented workshops and activities. All special activities on April 17 are included with paid regular admission from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Wine and Cheese Walk

Spend the afternoon visiting different merchants and enjoying live music while sampling fine red and white wines paired with delicious cheese items served by the participating merchants. The Wine & Cheese Walk will have two check-in points (one on North Beach Street and one on South Beach Street) where attendees will receive their Wine & Cheese Walk Passport, wine glass and beverage tickets. Plenty of free parking is available behind the Riverfront Shops. Advance tickets are $20/person and can be purchased online at Wine-Cheese-Walk.Eventbrite.com through 11:30 p.m. on Friday, April 16. Tickets will also be available the day of event at registration points for $25/person until sell out. “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” by Tennessee Williams

Set in 1955, Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize – winning drama examines the web of deceit that threatens to tear apart a rich, dysfunctional Southern family.  Over the course of one sultry Mississippi night, accusations of greed, homophobia, dishonesty and sexual desire are revealed.
