City of Edgewater Plans 2021 EDGEfest Events

2021 is here and the city of Edgewater is making plans for the coming year’s EDGEfest event series as well as other special events such as the Princess-Prince Ball and Christmas Parade. A total of eleven EDGEfest events are planned for 2021. The Special Events team is keeping an eye to the evolving COVID-19 conditions and making contingency plans should events need to be modified or postponed.

Coming up this month is the EDGEfest Classic Car Show on Saturday, January 23 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Hawks Park in Edgewater. The classic car show will feature music, vendors and food. Masks and social distancing are recommended.

One of the biggest events of the year, The Princess-Prince Ball, was scheduled for February 13, 2021, but out of an abundance of caution, it is being postponed. The current rescheduled dates of May 22nd and October 9th (as a backup date) have been slated as optional dates.

EDGEfest sponsorship is a fun, economical opportunity to showcase your business to area residents and visitors. To learn more about how to become a 2021 sponsor, please call the Special Events team at (386) 424-2400 x1340 or email
