Mayor Bill Partington Issues Proclamation Regarding Face Coverings For City Of Ormond Beach
A statement issued by the City of Ormond Beach on July 2, 2020 at 7 PM:
By proclamation of the Mayor of Ormond Beach, as provided by Section 3.05 of the City Charter, Mayor Bill Partington proclaims the necessity of the wearing of face coverings when social distancing is not attainable throughout the City of Ormond Beach and urges all residents and businesses to do the same.
“I know masks can be uncomfortable, especially in the heat of summer, but we are at a critical juncture for our City’s fight against COVID-19,” said Mayor Partington. “We need everyone’s help to keep our economy running and part of that fight is wearing face coverings to help slow the spread of this virus.”
