MOAS has provided educational enrichment programs to thousands of families through the Summer Learning Institute (SLI). We know how important the SLI Program is to the community and have been working hard behind the scenes to find ways to offer these experiences to families in a way that is safe to both our staff and participants.
We have put together a revised SLI schedule that provides online and on-site experiences and allows for families to access online content that can be either completed at home by students or is part of a supervised online camp experience.
Thanks to the generosity of our SLI sponsors: Richard Cannizzaro and Nancy Nance, Barbara Wilsey, Florida Power and Light, the MOAS Guild, and Thomas J. Yuschock, M.D. – Radiology Associates Imaging Centers, we will be creating an online library of activities that can be completed at home at no cost. Look out for more information on this!
We will be offering two weeks of virtual SLI in June, with a mixture of video tutorials and online supervision using video conferencing, they are suitable for children ages 7 to 13 years old. In July and into August we will be offering our on-site classes to a limited number of students, broken into classes for three different age groups from 4-13 years old.
