National Night Out with the Volusia Sheriff’s Office


Annual Event Features Food, Family Fun, Getting to Know Neighbors, Law Enforcement

National Night Out is an annual community event designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement officers and neighbors – come out and join us for law enforcement displays, demonstrations, food, music, children’s activities and more.

In Volusia County, the Sheriff’s Office is celebrating National Night Out 2019 on Tuesday night at several locations countywide.

Here’s our schedule of family-friendly events:

•        District 2: From 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m, Pierson Community Center, 124 W. Washington Ave., Pierson.

•        District 3:  5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., Halifax Plantation, 3031 Silvermines Ave., Ormond Beach.

•        District 4:  6 -8 p.m., Deltona City Hall, 2345 Providence Blvd., Deltona.

•        District 6:  5:30-8 p.m., Sheriff’s Office DeBary Substation, 79 S. 17-92, DeBary.

Residents are urged to turn on your porch light, lock your doors and come out to any of these locations to enjoy the festivities and get to know your local law enforcement officers, firefighters and other first responders. Families will enjoy seeing demonstrations by the Volusia Sheriff’s Office such as motorcycle deputies, K-9 officers, SWAT vehicles and more.
