Do you love the water? The city of Edgewater sure does – we treasure the gem that is the Intracoastal Waterway.
The annual EdgeFest Day on the River event will include water fun and safety tips. There will be plenty of fun and educational opportunities for all ages.
Bring your stand up paddle board, kayak or canoe for an excursion along the shoreline. Once again, the city will be participating in the International Coastal Cleanup as part of this event.

The 2019 International Coastal Cleanup began more than 30 years ago and now volunteers from all over the United States and 100 other countries come together each year to clean up the coastlines.
Join the fun on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Menard May Park (413 South Riverside Drive, Edgewater) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Edgewater Police Department will be holding their first, “Fishing with the Police” event on the same day at George R. Kennedy Memorial Park from 8 to 10 a.m. The kids can catch some fish with local police officers and then keep the fun going at the Day on the River event.

There is still plenty of room for vendors at the EdgeFest Day on the River. Call (386) 424-2400 x1340 or email SpecialEvents@CityOfEdgewater.org for more information about how to get involved.
