The New Smyrna Beach Regional Library, 1001 S. PARK(ing) Day is an annual event that encourages local businesses, community members, students, and designers to transform metered parking spaces into temporary “parklets.” Essentially, a parklet is an extension of the sidewalk into on-street parking spaces to create more people-oriented spaces. AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach Foundation Awards $25,000 in Community Grants
