Positively Florida Theater Company will present the classic musical play, Godspell, at the Museum of Arts and Sciences (MOAS), 352 S. Nova Road, Daytona Beach, March 21-24, 2019.
Godspell, with music by Academy Award winner Stephen Schwartz, tells the story of Jesus and his followers set in contemporary times.
Based on parables and stories in the book of Matthew and other gospels, Godspell reveals in words and music how a loving community forms around the teachings of “the Master.”

Godspell was a Tony Award nominee for Best Original Musical Score.

Gary Broughman is directing the show with Leigh Ann Singleton as musical director and Camryn Chiriboga as choreographer.
Godspell opens the nonprofit theater company’s 2019 season, which will include award winning plays at the Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Smyrna Beach and the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center.
